| Petie is everyone's favorite bird. He greets us each morning by landing on shoulders and begging for a scratch (even when our arms are filled with bowls of breakfast). He also makes a very devoted Dad and mate. His babies are typically large & robust and their conformation is outstanding. Petie was bred by Phillip Feret and Kathy Short of Washington State. Their birds are known for being, not only some of the top in the country, but also very gentle and sweet. |

| NEWS UPDATE ! October 07, 2005 Petie has flown the coop !! I guess I was so used to him perching on my shoulder that I must have left the aviary with him on me !! Neighbors have been alerted and he is sorely missed. Feeding the flock isn't the same without Petie here to help. |
