Shipping & Delivery Methods
Top Tiels is located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. If you are located too far away to visit us and
pick up your bird, we have a couple options to chose from.
We can arrange a place to meet you or deliver your bird to your home. We charge a mileage rate
of 35 cents per mile round-trip.
We also will ship babies by airline. We use Delta Airlines' Pet First program. Delta provides
wonderful care to traveling animals, and takes many extra steps to make sure the babies fly
comfortably and are unloaded quickly upon arrival. We have dealt with Delta's shipping agents at
our airport , Phoenix Sky Harbor, and they have all been wonderful to us and our babies.
Note: The airlines control how many animals will be allowed on any given flight. Weather
conditions (typically temperatures on take-off and anticipated at landing) also control whether an
animal will be allowed to board.
We charge you for the exact shipping charges that the airlines bill us. These fees must be
collected from you before shipment. We will ship the babies in one of our airline-approved
carriers. The carrier is modified based upon the number of Cockatiels being shipped. Should a
health certificate be required, our avian vet, Dr. Ross Babcock will perform the check and issue
the health certificate. In addition, a full well-bird examination can be arranged, if you would like. All
costs, will be borne on the buyer.
As excited as you are to have your new baby arrive, we are just as anxious to know the arrival was
