Pearl Cock (possibly split to Lutino) $225.00
2 great parents, Mystery and Neon! This is a nice sized cock with a big cheek patch and impressive crest. His head is better than average, but his eyes are on the small size. Should be bred to a good-sized robust hen with larger than average eyes. GREAT color on this one, too! His father, Neon, was known as the "orange-pinned baby" because he was SO brightly colored!
This hen is going through her first major moult, so the photos are awful (sorry) - but she's from a GREAT breeding that we did this year, so we have every confidence that she'll be GORGEOUS in a few months. Big Boy, one of our Greeson full bloods and 18R-414-04 (a Mush daughter) were paired here and this hen should be large and showy by her second year. Grab her now while her price is low!
One of the best pairings of 2007! Achilles, one of our top ten cocks (and a full Greeson) was bred to Lily, a gorgeous pearl hen from Josh Maple. Linebreeding on Greeson pair #54 - this hen will ONLY get better with age. Strong show candidate PLUS a fantastic breeding to inject size into your best lines!
a breeding done for color ended up to be FAR better than we had hoped! Clyde's son from 105-98 was paired to a VERY yellow Cinnamon Pied hen from Josh Maple and Pat Tucker. This pairing made some nice big Cinnamon Pearl hens and Cinnamon cocks. We'll do more of this pairing in the future!
Another beautiful bird from Big Boy & Mush's daughter 18R-414-04. This young hen is already beginning to fill out and her head, crest & eyes are already very impressive. As an F1 outcross, this hen should meet a Greeson boy in the future and make tremendous additions to any aviary!
from Clyde and 124, this is a nice Cinnamon Pearl Pied with genetics from some of Philip Feret's best lines. There are four of these to choose from including Clyde's first Whiteface! .
A GORGEOUS pair of birds are behind this young stylish hen. One of our BEST full Greeson pairings has been Apollo & Leta and their daughter is the mother here. Dad is Rocky, one of our 2006 FAVES and from LONG Greeson lineages, There are three here - and they're all great!
Our BEST pairing of the year! Ares, our BIGGEST Greeson boy was paired to 18R-415-04, an incredible Cinnamon Pearl hen for a VERY rare pair #54 linebreeding. Chicks are difficult to get, and there aren't many (as 415 tends to be pretty rough on them - so we have to pull early), but all of the handfeeding is worth it when you see these birds in person!
Great Feret genes are EVERYWHERE in this beautiful Whiteface Cinnamon Pearl / Pied boy. Some of Phil's Foundation birds have come together and the result is just beautiful. As a young boy - and just entering his first major moult, he's still got some growing to do - but he'll no doubt join the ranks of his ancestors in the VERY near future!
Dominant Yellow Cheek Pied cock $295.00
One of our best Yellow Cheeks here! Dancer's daughter - a large DYC Cinnamon Pied was bred to Dottie's brother (Linebred Tory 1/2 & 1/2) and the results are TERRIFIC! Stately & Impressive, this boy can be shown in the Rares Class until he's ready to breed!
If I had to choose my top 5 favorites of 2007, I'd HAVE to include this gorgeous Pied hen in the pick! Another fantastic bird from Big Boy and 414, this kid is destined for greatness! The photos don't do her justice (sorry), but in person she's just unforgettable. As an F1 outcross, she should ideally be paired to a Greeson boy when the time comes, but in the meantime - enjoy showing her!
Note: Every effort has been made here to correctly identify the sex of these birds. Unfortunately, mistakes can happen and - since these are all 2007 hatches - we may have inadvertently mislabeled a few of the birds listed below. We apologize for any future surprises!
A sister to the Pied above from Big Boy and 414, this hen is already gaining size and style as each day goes by! As an F1 outcross, she should ideally be paired to a Greeson boy when the time comes, but in the meantime - enjoy showing her!
A brother to the Pearl above from Ares & 415, this boy is well on his way to being the KING of any aviary! Strong pair #54 linebreeding will ensure that his top size (which can take up to 2 years to achieve) is yet to be realized. He's already getting BIG!
