About Us
Just a few of our favorite Cockatiels ...
Sadie and Dancer, Cinnamon Pearl & Dominant Yellow Cheek
I picked Sadie up in Tucson, when I met Phil Feret for the first time. He was
attending a show and I drove down from Phoenix to check out the birds and pick
mine up from Phil. Sadie was entered in the show and placed in a couple different
categories. She was (and is today) a gorgeous bird. He had another bird there, too.
Dancer, a Dominant Yellow Cheek Pied that I thought was truly outstanding. I
asked Phil to sell him to me, too and he agreed. After the show ended, he put them
both into one cage and it was instant love.
Dancer (not named yet) began to dance all around the cage and whistled the most beautiful song for his
new, would be bride. She was very impressed (as were we) and they've been together ever since.
Some time later, though Sadie allows Moose to also mate with her, they raise babies together, no matter
who the father is.
March 27th, 2005- Walker & Kegan are two weeks old today and growing like little kings. Photos coming soon. Until then,
check out their pedigrees !!
March 29th, 2005- Dancer & Sadie are already back to nest !! Moose is, most likely, the father again ..

Hera , Cinnamon Pearl hen
After a longer than normal waiting period for birds to arrive from
Linda Greeson, Hera showed up. She is undoubtedly the finest
hen that has ever flown through our aviaries and worth every
minute of waiting.
Weighing in at a staggering 230 grams, She and her mate, Zeus,
are from the coveted Greeson lines and sport not only enormous
size, but lots of style.
These birds need special sized (3x3x6) breeding cages to permit
long flight paths and proper muscle mass. Chicks from this pair
will be matched to some of our other show stock in the hopes of
creating a very long line of Grand Champions.
March 29th, 2005- Hera and Zeus's eggs are due to hatch ! Photos are right
around the corner.

The Greeson Line
Pictured is the flock I waited so long for. I would have
happily waited much longer had I known what I would be
receiving when I picked them up from the airport.
Leta and Apollo are paired as are Hera and Zeus. Ares
can't decide between his two favorite girls, Aesha, a
whiteface lutino pearl pied, and Spring, a Pastelface
Cinnamon Pearl split Pied so he's currently paired with both.
Ares is just under two years old and has the energy of any
boy his age. He's enormous, too, and will soon father some
future show winners of his own.
March 29th- Leta and Apollo's eggs are due to hatch soon.
Ares and Spring began laying today !

Moose & Clyde
Two beautiful Phil Feret birds with large size, loads of style and personality to match.
Moose, a Normal Split Pearl & Cinnamon, heralds from such famous lines as Linda
Greeson and the Osteen clan. Phil has an incredible talent of matching birds with
varying traits to become bench champions extraordinairre.
Moose has recently fathered two beautiful chicks with Sadie, but has left the
parenting to Dancer.
Clyde is a young Cinnamon Pearl split Pied and Whiteface. He was recently separated
from Ares, because the two of them in one large aviary just upset every single pair.
They are brothers at heart and enjoy nothing more than putting a stop to any and all
breeding activity that doesn't involve them !
Both Moose and Clyde are currently seeking new partners in our main community
flight. We'll update you as the new romances unfold.
March 26, 2005- Clyde has been paired to Canyon, an outstanding Whiteface
Lutino Pearl Pied bred by Kathy Short and Phil Feret of Washington.

Petie, Lutino Pearl
Yet another gorgeous example of Phil Ferets mastery.
Petie is everyone's favorite guy. Always the first to greet anyone entering the main
flight, Petie loves nothing more than to sit on my shoulder and check babies with me.
The one word he does speak well is "Babies" and he tells me whenever one has been
born, flying eagerly to the nestbox and waiting for me to take a look.
He also feeds each new baby whenever possible, and most parents in the aviary give
him unrestricted access to their nestboxes as a result. He is quite a help around here!!
NEWS UPDATE ! October 07, 2005
Petie has flown the coop !! I guess I was so used to him perching on my shoulder
that I must have left the aviary with him on me !! Neighbors have been alerted and he is sorely missed.
Feeding the flock isn't the same without Petie here to help.
